They have changed the ingredients from the original 1900s recipe to using today's refinery based ingredients. My 3.5 year old son was fed these for a snack at church and he became incredibly irritable and violent the rest of the day. He was hitting other kids and his parents for no reason the rest of the day. He also had a horible sleep that night. He has a known corn sensitivity but no one expected that "shortbread" would have corn in it. It has the worst kind of corn which is high fructose corn syrup. That stuff is horrible for kids and based on my experiences with my son I think it causes a large amount of the behavior problems that kids have. Avoid this product until they remove the HFCS and go back to cane sugar.

Lorna Doones are great in the evening while reading or watching TV. Satisfies a sweet tooth and limits the caloric intake. Tastes great too.

I get these all the time from my supermarket and I must have misread the ad here on Amazon. I thought it was more then 36 bags in the case On sale at my supermarket I can get 26 bags for $4.99 which is less then $.20 a bag or regular price is $8.99 for 26 bags which is $0.35 a bag which is a lot less expensive then the price here. I am disappointed in myself for not reading the ad correctly and spending too much money.
However, I will qualify it with saying they are very good and a great lunch treat for myself and my son.

There's not much in this pretty box. It is light as a feather, but we all wanna be. Therefore, I suppose we get what we pay for. The cookies are delicious, but there simply is not much food in that box. Maybe we don't need much food. I simply wish I had more willpower.
I like the 100 calorie snack items. The idea works well.

This 100 calorie snack is too good. Thank heavens it is in a package that limits the amount one can eat.
