1Tastes AwfulAug 19, 2010
Sure, vitamins are good for them, but this one tastes really awful. My daughter gagged when I gave it to her. My husband and I tried it and we both gagged. I've tried to mix it with food, cereal, juice etc, but there is just no masking that taste. I know they say to keep giving it to the kids and they will eventually accept it, but honestly, I try to pick my battles. The Tri-vi-sol tastes better and has the same stuff, just not the iron. She gets iron in her cereal and food, so it's not worth the battle for me.

4Do not mix with cow's milkAug 13, 2010
FYI - our pediatrician told us not to mix this product with cow's milk. It will hinder absorption of certain vitamins, especially the iron.

4Awful taste but keeps baby healthy...Aug 03, 2010
Yes, as many people have written, this thing tastes and smells awfully, stains and may even cause your little one to throw up... but it has kept illnesses away. My 6.5-month-old was getting sick all the time. It may be a coincidence but he hasn't gotten sick since his doctor recommended these vitamins (2 weeks ago). Mixing them with foods/liquids didn't do the trick. As someone else pointed out, I break the dosage to two 0.5ml dosages (or I reduce the dosage to 0.75ml and don't worry about the remaining 0.25ml), which my son tolerates without throwing up, and then I immediately offer him the breast (you can try formula/food instead). I haven't compared this product to other products, yet.

5works great!May 31, 2010
we put this in my daughter's rice milk every morning and she has never complained about the taste. my doctor recommended that we use this once we realized that she's a picky eater and it covers all the basic vitamin needs (especially since we're vegetarians.) i'm also convinced that she is in good health because she takes them everyday, but that could just be a naturally good immune system.

1Waste of moneyMay 22, 2010
This product tastes aweful! I tried it myself in juice and you can still taste "metal." No wonder my daughter refused to drink it.
