Very good purshaseJul 23, 2010
After our local Aldi stopped carrying the similar product I was used to buying, I was very happy to find Mestemacher Whole Rye bread on Amazon. This is very close to the Russian whole rye bread that I grew up with. I am glad it was that easy. This bread freezes great and will last me for a while. I will buy another case when the first batch will be gone. Thanks,

Try Mestemacher toasted for any sandwich and grilled for grilled cheese or tuna melts. Also great for French toast after soaking in milk/egg/sugar/seasoning blend, and resting in fridge overnight.

I am really enjoying this bread. We got this one and the fitness bread, both are good. Great toasted with peanut butter for breakfast.

THANK YOU for offering the Whole Rye Bread on the internet - our local grocery store is very slow to stock and will not give me the name of their delivery person. Plus, the pricing is much better! I will continue to buy, as this is the only bread my husband will eat.

We have a hit and miss supply of German breads here and price can be an issue as well. This was a better-than-local price and with free shipping it was a good deal. My wife and I could eat the various Mestemacher varieties on a daily basis. We believe it is a very healthy product as well as tasting terrific.
